FlowX Mini Experimental Build

This is my first “alone” build. After “ready packed” builds I decided to go alone.

The basic idea was to have an about 3″ but a bit over powered. In particular I wanted to use 2004 motors to test the fact that with less resistance on props a “larger” motor could pick up as fast as a torque dedicated motor. As there is no results yet, I just list here the build.

Details:

  • Frame: FlowX mini from fpvframe.ch (https://fpvframe.ch/fpvx/product/flowx-mini/)
  • FC: I- Flight Beast F7
  • VXT: I-Flight succex nano
  • RX: XM+
  • Motors: FlashHobby. 2004/1900kv
  • Props: AVAN 3.5″ (the only one there at that time: with the half inch)
  • Batteries: XT60 (the build supports up to 6S)

I did a first flight with a insta360 go on it. It all looked fine except a bit of prop wash coming down from dives. The below is with 3.5″ props on.
